SOUTH WALTON (THE 30A TRIBUNE) — The controversy began when a homeowner noticed that the newly painted house next door appeared to be almost precisely the same shade of white as their own. Both colors had been purchased under different names, an administrative detail residents found especially distressing.
An emergency session of the community aesthetic committee was convened to determine which property had established prior use of the color. Witnesses examined paint samples in direct sunlight, indirect sunlight, and the soft glow of a designer outdoor lantern.
The committee ultimately suggested that one household shift from Cloud Whisper to Whispered Cloud. The proposal remains under review following a request for another round of tastings at the neighborhood wine bar, which in this story is also imaginary.
There is, of course, no real resident, household or committee behind this report. The 30A Tribune publishes imaginary events and fictional characters for satirical entertainment.
